The West Coast Mission

"And then He told them, 'Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.'" Mark 16:15

At the beginning of 2022, I started feeling the Lord calling me out from my job at Boise Rescue Mission Ministries.

After praying for multiple months about where the Lord wanted me to go, the only path that remained on my heart over time was a mission call.

The vision I saw for it: a year-long journey up the west coast from San Diego to Seattle, staying and serving at Rescue Missions along the way, preaching the Gospel, and connecting with believers.

The mission will be evangelistic in nature while also being intentional towards the Body of Christ--to edify, exhort, and comfort believers in whatever way the Holy Spirit wants to use me.

Some Scripture that's been on my heart: Galatians 2:20; Matt. 10:37, 16:24, 28:18-20; Isaiah 6:1-8, 50, 59:18-19, 54-66; Heb. 11:8, 12:1-2, 12:18-29; 1 John 4:18; 2 Tim. 1:7; Exodus 33; Revelation 1-22; Judges 7; Luke 14:25-33; 1 Cor. 11:1; Psalm 148:8, 78:26, 20, 23, 27, 40, 90, 121, 126; Acts 20:24; John 3:13-21, 6:48-51, 15, 17.

"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ J

Since last Tuesday (Jan. 10), a lot has happened. Instead of the San Diego Rescue Mission, I am at Father Joe's shelter at the heart of downtown San Diego. There's been a lot of walking and waiting on
